Agency owner. Booked calls this week.

For logistics shops, where does a late delivery first show up? Driver call, customer email, or dispatch board? I’m trying to find the first useful signal, not add another dashboard. What do you check?

A client recently started writing online and asked what I thought of using AI to write. Here’s what I told him: (For reference, he sent me two pieces of content: one he wrote, one Claude edited.) The AI version is ‘slightly’ better technically. But when you use AI, it strips away your voice. If any of your readers use AI regularly, they will pick up on the ‘feeling’ that you are using Claude. This isn’t good because people enjoy reading content when they feel an emotional connection. But that isn’t the main issue. The main problem with outsourcing your writing to AI is that you are outsourcing your thinking. Every day you write is a day you sharpen your thoughts. You become clearer, more concise, and more compelling. And not just when you write, but when you speak, too. Getting AI to write for you may save you some time. But it will lump you in with the crowd and stop you from creating a persuasive voice in your space. Short-term gain, but a high long-term cost.

We spent $640/month on a dispatch tool that drivers hated. I watched the morning handoff instead. One missed update caused the mess. A $90/month text flow fixed it. Diagnose before you build.

An automation agency doesn’t need better prompts. It needs someone who can spot a $10K problem and explain the fix without saying “LLM.” Diagnose before you build. The workflow is the easy part.

An AI agent is a junior employee with no manager. Before you give it a credit card, give it one task, a hard limit, and a human to call when it gets confused. That’s not less advanced. It’s how you keep the lights on.

A dispatch team spent 11 minutes a day copying job notes into invoices. We cut it to 2 with one form and a rule: no invoice until the job notes are complete. Runs for $32/month. Nobody misses copying notes. Funny how that works.

Technical skill is the least important part of an AI automation agency. The person who can diagnose a business problem and sell the fix beats the best n8n builder every time.

Your ICP isn't a persona doc. It's a list of 100 companies you can actually name. If you can't write their names on a whiteboard, your targeting is a guess. Guesswork gets ignored.

Send a screenshot of your last cold email that got a reply. I'll tear it down in the replies. No wins? Send the one you thought would crush it. Let's see what actually works out there.

The FTC alleges $20B in extra costs. It says 80% paid full bid. Amazon's rebuttal says the reserve prices are not predictable in advance by anyone, including Amazon. thenextweb.com/news/amazon-f…

Cold call show rate. What's yours? Mine was 41% last quarter. Below 30 means your confirmation sequence is trash. Drop your number. I'll tell you what to fix.

If your cold email domain has no DMARC, you are sending on hard mode. Google and Microsoft treat no policy as a risk flag. Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC before you send one email. The game before the game is boring. It is also why you get replies.

AI made cold email harder, not easier. Everyone sounds the same now. The ones winning send 100 emails that actually fit. Not 10K with a first name.

Took over an account last month. 47% open rate, 1 reply in 60 days. Didn’t touch the copy. Deleted half their list. Fixed their DNS. Same email. 11 replies in 2 weeks. Deliverability is the game before the game.
