i won’t discredit how good they sound but for the love of god do not post about distributing homebrewed miku voicebanks you’ve made with the leaked v3 devkit. not in this anti tower of babel twitter economy

don’t go and send hate to the person/people behind the Miku NX+ Project. there were obviously there were good intentions, and there’s always a way to inform and educate on why this shouldn’t/doesn’t happen in a calm and kind manner.

please just let this be a lesson that publicly distributing vocaloids for free, especially edited ones created using leaked tools, AND especially of Hatsune Miku, isn’t okay and will not be received well by anyone.

i wake up and someones trying to give out edited Miku V3/V4 vbs for free… 😭 i don’t think i have to explain WHY that’s a horrendous idea, and imo projects like that should not become successful at all.

when it comes to things like this, you have to consider the rights of Miku’s VP, Saki Fujita. I’m very positive she hasn’t consented to her recordings being edited or sold/distributed by anyone other than CFM. she had to place trust and responsibility in them, not you.

making vbs of people who don’t consent to them being made is problematic enough, even if no AI is involved. on top of that, trying to distribute Miku for free? heck, trying to distribute a VOCALOID for free? i don’t see that being received positively by cfm/yamaha OR by fans.

A common misconception, so I made a handy chart (ofc, there's nothing wrong in calling it "utau", i've done it too, but i keep seeing many confused over the designs, so maybe this distinction can clear things up)

Teto in Fortnite uses her UTAU design, even though BIRDBRAIN, the song used to tease her arrival, uses the SynthV voicebank
