The end result:
Over 7 days we have deployed our Amsterdam location.
- Planned the rack layout.
- Built and racked the servers. (Including our first customer's ones)
- Racked and cabled the networking devices.
- Configured the network to be a safe environment.
Of course, we are only human too and time to time... things can go wrong. Which is why we had to also order some QSFP+ to SFP+ adapters to be able to connect to our IX and IP Transit provider.
Since then, our network is live. As you can see, our ping to Cloudflare (as base measure) is just a mere 1.2ms, to Google we have astonishing sub-millisecond response times! Special thanks to @EraniumNL.

Big news!
We have begun provisioning our IX port with ERA-IX, one of the Netherlands' most-peered Internet Exchanges.
What will this mean for our customers?
1. You will generally have a lower latency to any destination that is also on ERA-IX.
2. Lower costs over time, as this will offset a large part of our IP transit costs.

We've been quiet, but there is a reason for that. During the past 2 weeks we have been working with RIPE NCC to get our Autonomous System Number to be able to own our Subnets. Finally, the day has come.
You will be able to find and peer with us at AS198055.
First, we will be available on @EraniumNL 's ERA-IX in NorthC Datacenters' Amsterdam 1 facility, in our own leased racks.

We will NEVER, KYC our customers.
KYC was sold as crime prevention. In practice, it fuels mass surveillance, puts user data at risk, gives platforms excuses to freeze funds, and kills competition through compliance costs.
Even in 2025, a record year for illicit flows, crypto crime was still less than 1% of all volume, according to Chainalysis. KYC punishes everyone to inconvenience a few.
