next/image decodes through sharp, which reaches libvips and libheif. so remotePatterns points an image decoder at the open internet even if your app never takes uploads

a debug port has no authentication. not off by default, the protocol has no concept of it. anything that reaches 9222 is you, on every site you are signed into
