My new old friend Poe is at the emergency vet for the crime of straining in the litter box. Because he’s 17 years old I decided to rush here. The vet thinks it may just be cystitis and not a full blockage but tests are being run right now!

Great news! Poe is just constipated! His blood and urine looks great for his age! He is backed up enough that they want to give him some fluids and an enema, but he should be fine after that! Constipation can get serious for cats, but I caught it nice and early!
