OpenAI is now promising independent assessors deeper access across training, evals and deployment.
the interesting part isn’t the word "transparency."
it’s whether outsiders can actually test the safety case, verify critical safeguards, probe high-risk capabilities, and inspect misalignment incidents without the lab controlling the story.
