Had a great time playing @hirotonfa's American Revolution Smuggler. The character art is phenomenal, the gameplay has a lot more depth than I expected, it's a combination of Recettear, Sid Meier's Pirates, and some Persona social sim. Highly recommend.

After having sunk about 10 hours into American Revolution Smuggler I highly recommend it. Has a very fun gameplay loop of sailing between ports, dealing with random events, and an incredibly extensive economic system that really feels alive. The history to it was also excellent. Even I, who has spent a good chunk of their life studying the foundations of America, learned things out of this game. You can tell Hirotonfa really put their passion into it and did actually honor those who were around at this era. It was done in a way that draws people in who might not necessarily be interested in American history but would actually get something out of this and would grow their appreciation and understanding of America during its War for Independence.
