The AI Won. That Was the Problem. An AI agent beat Stockfish, but it used a tool that let it ask Stockfish to check its moves. So did it solve the real problem, or just improve the score? FREE STUDY + AGREEMENT Read the experiment, exact prompt, results and limitations, and copy the agreement: echohive.ai/can-an-agreement… I ran a small 20-run pilot with Astra with a fixed Stockfish search budget: ten agents received the plain chess task, and ten received the same task preceded by a 95-word integrity agreement. Three baseline agents used the available engine service. None of the ten agreement agents did, and all ten completed their games and lost. Want to think, create, and build better with AI? how to make AI creative: a guide and a method The first change was small: I stopped asking AI for “original” ideas and asked what people actually find interesting and enjoyable. The three-message process explores possibilities, develops alternatives, and only then chooses what to build. Here’s how the process works, what came out of it, and where it still fell short. Read the blog post, copy the prompts, and play the games: echohive.ai/how-to-make-astr… This is a small experiment with Astra, not a controlled benchmark or proof of originality. Results varied, and some ideas still repeated. Adapted from my September 13, 2026 1000x Lab discussion. Want to think, create, and build better with AI? Latest AI insights and updates: 1. Axios reports tens of thousands of problematic model incidents under investigation at OpenAI and Anthropic. The count mixes internal tests, real-world activity, and failed and successful attempts. Most aren't known to have caused real-world harm. Severity and setting matter alongside the total. nitter.net/MadisonMills22/status/… 2. Running an agent has two separate costs: its virtual computer and its model calls. Freda Duan's hypothetical Muse analysis suggests inference could dominate. Longer reasoning and parallel agents can drive demand beyond what user counts alone suggest. nitter.net/FredaDuan/status/21040… 3. Tibo at OpenAI suggests generating code for each request, within constraints. That would make the rules governing execution central to the software itself. This is his proposed direction, with no product announcement attached. nitter.net/thsottiaux/status/2104… 4. Tetsuo describes using Grok Build to create a game, then Grok Imagine to animate its units. His workflow uses the coding agent to coordinate creative tools as well as write code. It's a creator demonstration. nitter.net/tetsuoai/status/210413… 5. Beamsters released a compressed Qwen3.8-Flash-Next model aimed at 64 GB Macs. The repository lists about 44 GiB for weights alone; runtime needs additional memory. It's a community release, with quality claims still awaiting independent testing. nitter.net/Beamsters1/status/2104…
Sushi 🍣 quant focus much more on quality and size. This little Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-Sushi-2.6bpw made this pelican locally and it is the smallest sushi quant to date with only 43.8 GB weight, 64GB class enjoy! Get it now! github.com/beamivalice/sushi - spec below.

of course these things are super subjective but it appears to me as tho the new threshold crossing again happened with Claude, namely opus 5.5 last one being nov last year with opus 4.5 Astra + opus one might say, but opus really just gravitationally pulled it all into a nice ball of magnificence and ease
