🚨 GOLDMAN SACHS DROPS DOOMSDAY STATEMENT: U.S. BONDS HAVE NO BUYERS Goldman Sachs just admitted the long end of U.S. Treasury market is “totally bidless.” Translation: almost nobody wants the 10- to 30-year debt the U.S. is trying to sell. No buyers. None. Zero. While Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent tells Congress we’re in an “illiquid period,” doubles then triples long-bond buybacks, taps the General Treasury Account to fund it and openly says “I am the house.” Yields are surging anyway. The 10-year has pushed toward 5.3% and the 30-year is even higher, levels not seen in years while Japan, one of the biggest foreign holders, keeps selling Treasuries and bringing money home. This was exactly warned by Japan’s @yutokanzakireal that the measures being prepared by Bank of Japan will affect the lives of billions of people and apologized to people of the West. Soon after, Scott Bessent intervened and effectively took over BoJ operations which Japanese policymakers heavily criticized. If the same ”bidless” condition hits the short-dated treasuries market, the entire U.S. debt market (and global) collapses. The U.S. debt crisis will turn into a global liquidity crisis.

Why I asked those sites to fix their PulseChain pages. A lot of articles still say PulseChain was a "snapshot" — that Ethereum's state was copied and loaded onto a new chain. That is not what happened. PulseChain is a hard fork of Ethereum mainnet. Same genesis as Ethereum. Same history from block 0. No new genesis. No snapshot. No halt. The fork activates at PrimordialPulseBlock 17,233,000. You can check genesis yourself: ipfs.scan.pulsechain.com/blo… Hash: 0xd4e56740f876aef8c010b86a40d5f56745a118d0906a34e69aec8c0db1cb8fa3 That is Ethereum's genesis. PulseChain starts there. "Snapshot" was the easy word. It helped people picture token copies showing up in the same address. I get why it spread. But it describes the wrong machine. A snapshot is: freeze state, start a new chain. A hard fork is: keep the original chain, change the rules at a block, continue. Those are not the same thing. One implies a new beginning. The other is a continuation. This matters more now than it did in 2023, because this is what AI reads. Models do not pull truth out of the client. They read the internet. Ranked blogs, explainers, "what is PulseChain" pages. If those pages all say snapshot, the model says snapshot. Then the next article quotes the model. Then the next model trains on that. The error compounds. I watched this happen. Ask an AI what PulseChain's fork was, and it will often give you the blog version — snapshot, new chain, state copied onto genesis — instead of the client version. Shared genesis. Full history. Hard fork at 17,233,000. The official sources were never unclear. go-pulse, the node docs, the explorer. The secondary layer flattened it. So I asked the sites that still say snapshot to update. Not to score points. So the public record matches the chain, and so the next thing that learns from the web learns the actual design. If you write about PulseChain, please use hard fork. Point at genesis. Point at 17,233,000. The shorthand already did enough damage.

Researchers proved AI has deleted every reason universities exist. Harvard University ran a controlled experiment pitting a custom AI against their own top-tier classrooms. And the results are going to collapse the higher education bubble. They took 194 undergraduates and split them up. One group learned physics in one of Harvard’s best hands-on, active-learning physical classrooms. Group work. Instructor support. The premium university experience. The other group went home and learned the exact same material with an AI tutor. The AI didn't just win. It embarrassed the institution. Students using the AI learned more than twice as much as the students in the elite Harvard classroom. They scored 30% higher on the final assessment. And they did it in less time. Let that sink in. A piece of software sitting on a laptop outperformed a world-class faculty in one of the most elite learning environments on Earth. Universities have always justified their exorbitant tuition with two things: access to elite knowledge and the physical classroom experience. This study just proved both of those moats are gone. When software can teach you complex physics twice as well as a $60,000-a-year institution, the math of higher education breaks permanently. The AI didn't just give the students answers. It used strict pedagogical guardrails. It guided. It questioned. It forced the students to do the cognitive work. It offered perfect, one-to-one tutoring, personalized to the exact moment a student misunderstood a concept. That level of attention is mathematically impossible to scale in a physical lecture hall. For a thousand years, the university was the only place to get a premium education. Now, it’s the bottleneck. If AI can double your learning speed for a fraction of the cost, what exactly are students taking on decades of debt to pay for?

Once you become aware of something, you gain the ability to change it. The observer effect in quantum mechanics shows how particles can be altered when they are observed. That is exactly how magic works. Once something is observed, you can change it through the power of your mind.

Then the machine asked if I wanted to donate $2 to "help end hunger." ABSOLUTELY NOT. SpaceX will win AI. Might sound like an absurd claim right now, but stay with me. For over a year, I’ve argued that frontier capability gains eventually stop mattering economically once “good-enough AI” is crossed in the agentic era. And models themselves stop being a unique edge. A even more absurd-sounding claim, but keep reading... What is “good-enough AI”? Agentic AI capable of performing nearly all computer work reliably, reaching or exceeding human parity at the same work. Once most frontier labs cross that threshold, two things happen. 1. Commoditization Once frontier companies cross it, open-source models eventually do too, particularly from China. Through distillation, anyone can download one, attach their brand, and become an AI provider. Models become a commodity rather than a unique edge. 2. Welcome to real-world economics. For four years, AI has operated under a future-capability premium that real-world economics could never sustain indefinitely. Once AI is good enough for most work and massively distributed through commoditized models, hundreds of providers compete primarily on cost and speed. And even as model efficiency and intelligence density improve, the way to win ultimately becomes scaling compute. The competition becomes: Who can scale compute fastest, at the greatest scale, with the cheapest energy and highest utilization? That leaves only a few players with credible paths through the energy constraint with these two main: – SpaceX’s orbital bet – China’s national energy scaling and abundance SpaceX’s potential solution is the most radical. If it wins, it would produce more energy than anyone combined at near-zero cost, giving it energy dominance. China obviously keeps competing, but is temporarily limited by its chip constraints, giving SpaceX a short window to build before China reaches its full energy potential. 3. This becomes even more important once AI becomes recursive. Even frontier models rapidly accelerating toward recursive AI eventually face a hard limit. The bottleneck won't be building cost-effective models that undercut Chinese open models. Their AIs eventually spawn smaller, highly efficient models that are better. The actual hard limit becomes energy. While everyone competes to serve users, they’re also competing to feed their AIs’ recursive improvement with compute. Every compute delay increasingly becomes a major setback against competitors. And once terrestrial data-center expansion starts hitting its wall of energy, infrastructure, and policy limits, with populist movements in the West massively slowing it, the challenge becomes building at scale. That pushes the industry toward one novel solution: Orbital compute. And if SpaceX solves it, it now controls the biggest constraint everyone else faces. That is the key to how SpaceX wins. 4. But how does that translate to winning the model race? It can then win the agentic market early with “workhorse models” 90% as good as the frontier at 10× lower cost. But here is the actual core edge: Use compute rent revenue to subsidize its own models. Competitor growth directly funds Grok’s cheap prices, to earn more market share. 5. And that creates an even bigger advantage. Beyond the obvious market-share benefits, this generates immense real-world data to help close the frontier gap. Ultimately, LLMs still come down to better data + more compute. Every dollar generated from competitors can therefore be turned back into compute and data. So we get the ideal flywheel: SpaceX’s energy advantage → compute-rent revenue → cheaper workhorse models → market-share gains → massive real-world data → endless scaling of compute + data → its own bigger recursive loop → frontier catch-up. SpaceX therefore doesn’t need to win the model race now. It needs to win the compute race. And the compute race ultimately comes down to energy. SpaceX solving orbital compute will be the reason it ultimately wins AI.

1. We will keep accelerating. Our AI efforts are only 3 years old, vs 6 and 10 years old for Anthropic and OpenAI. If our second derivative remains strong, SpaceX will reach pole position in about 6 months. 2. Once you far exceed the caliber of intelligence needed for a class of tasks, additional intelligence is pointless. You don’t need (and it would be cruel to put) Newton-level intelligence in your toaster! 3. Hardware is hard. Bringing massive compute online rapidly is incredibly difficult. SpaceX has demonstrated exceptional ability in this regard and will only get better.
