1/ It's interesting that Trump no longer tries to hype military attacks after getting humiliated end of July when his attacks on Irans electricity and bridges didn't work at all.

I bet people have already thought of this but with the privacy screen tech they can replace the privacy pixels with camera pixels (or a hole to the camera sensor below) to solve the screen over camera problem while preserving camera quality Cc @Huawei

1/ I don't understand why mathematicians can't just spray and pray conjectures and have the AI auto-prove them to build theories and understanding of mathematical structures.

2/ That seems obvious faster to me than to dig through 1 million lines of Lean to figure out what is happening. And you can still enforce artificial scarcity (cuz pay isn't infinite) based on interestingness of conjectures. In fact they already do this for theories.

3/ Maybe then mathematicians can stop cockblocking progress for the rest of the world! But I suppose this is catastrophic org collapse for the existing math world where math is about solving arbitrary problems and now its more like art.

1/ Alot of people have been hyping up AI means you can rule the world but looking at the current trajectory of AI I don't see how that can happen. What you are going to be like here's the proof of Navier Stokes Iran plz open the Hormuz?

2/ And having the AI design chips and write algorithms with recursive self improvement doesn't help either. At some point the AI has to move stuff around, and that only happens with actuators.
