drama ads got popular recently...
me and @hookrate_ have been doing drama ads for more than 5-6 months 😭
here's what you should have in mind:
- make sure people immediately associate themselves with the problem otherwise you will attract bad traffic
- make controversial dramas (cheating husband, c*** husband, rejected simp, etc...)
- introduce other solutions before showing your product
- try to not show the product at all, but send them to an article on the product the actor is using
- hook is very important, do smth controversary and clickbaity
- think like chinese guys

the choice concept getting some engagement for @histrips
there’s a concept on the rise on tiktok / ig rn that you’re going to want to test immediately
‘choose your partner for tonight’
it’s mostly creepy stories and uncanny vibes
the reason it works is because the second they commit to a character they have to find out what happens next
they're going to watch
the same characters appear often
so there's connection to them over different videos and story lines
retention is strong
it's an interactive experience with a new open loop choice every few scenes
“now decide if you follow or stay where you are…”
it counts down while you ‘decide’ then it decides for you anyway
i’ve been taking that concept and applying it to health brands
‘if you choose [path a]… you [problem]’
walk them through the timeline of what would happen if they choose X, what they already know to be true, their own interpretation said back to them
the second choice appears later as what happens if you choose the other path, the outcome
‘if you had chosen [path b]… x y z happens and [outcome]’
steal this format and profit before it gets rinsed
