A Black man shot and killed a pregnant Asian woman and her unborn child in Seattle. The victim was just sitting in her Tesla with her husband who was also shot but survived. This is a tragedy that the Asian community knows far too well- Black on Asian violence and racism
ABSOLUTE TRAGEDY: #Seattle Police confirming a 34 year old pregnant woman and her unborn child died after being shot in #Belltown late Tuesday morning. A man was also struck by gunfire and is recovering in the hospital. Investigators spent hours collecting evidence around a bullet riddled white Tesla. The shooting suspect was arrested nearby with the help of witnesses. This all went down on 4th Ave and Lenora St, a busy intersection near Cinerama(@SeattleCinerama,) CVS(@cvspharmacy,) and Amazon HQ(@amazon.) Ironically at the same time, Mayor Bruce Harrell(@MayorofSeattle) and other officials were talking about the importance of public safety at the grand re-opening of City Hall Park just a few minutes away.
