The timing of Jun's solo release was abrupt and now on hindsight, we realized it was strategically released alongside Go for Broke 2's theatrical release. His C-fanbases were preparing for Go for Broke 2 box office with the pre-sales. Their entire focus was on that. We just had finished hyping/promoting him as the Overseas Promotion Ambassador for Silk Road International Film Festival and were on preparation for hyping GFB2. Moreover, when the notice of his EP dropped, I still remember very clearly how the fandom reacted especially those hard-core solo stans of JxJ unit and by the stats of soc media engagements & streams, it was very easy to decipher that the EP was silently boycotted by many carats. Why? Just because it was released a month earlier than the actual JxJ unit debut? Observe the engagement pattern, do the maths and connect the dots. Moreover you and your breed implying in the comment section that Jun has a small fandom despite having solo schedules- just wanna remind you that his underpromoted and abrupt EP debuted on #28 in BILLBOARD JAPAN HOT 100, the first solo album in SVT to do so and one of highest charting Chinese EP in Japan, even above Jay Chou. It did well in China too despite Soda Music being a relatively new platform and not quite user friendly. Don't make it too obvious where your resentment comes from. Additionally, does Jun's fans only comprises of his solo fandom? Where are the self proclaimed ot13 who loves to gloat when Jun renewed his contract and shows up for SVT but do you all show up for him? Cz the gap in support is definitely huge. Especially on the International side. And people ain't blind.
All the members have different levels of popularity and individual appeal. Jun has been doing solo activities for a long time and has had plenty of opportunities to reach non-fans, so by now, he should have built up a strong fanbase of his own.Ask them why they aren’t streaming.
