Good morning, you beautiful souls. ❤️🙏
I need somebody to hear this today: YOU DID NOT COME THIS FAR JUST TO QUIT HERE. There will be days when your strength feels gone, your prayers feel unanswered, doors keep closing, and you start wondering if all this fighting is even worth it. Those are the moments that reveal what perseverance really means. Anybody can praise God when the blessing arrives. Anybody can keep moving when the road is easy. Faith is continuing to walk when you cannot see where God is leading you, but you trust the One leading you.
Galatians 6:9 tells us, “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Read those last words again: IF WE FAINT NOT. God never promised that your calling would be comfortable. He never said becoming who He created you to be wouldn't require sacrifice, discipline, patience, tears, rejection, and nights where you questioned everything. But difficulty does not automatically mean you're on the wrong road. Sometimes the mountain isn't there to stop you. Sometimes God uses the climb to strengthen the person who will eventually stand on top of it.
There is a difference between losing and being a loser. Losing is an event. Quitting is a decision. Winners fall. Winners cry. Winners get discouraged. Winners have moments when they don't know how they're going to keep going, but they get back up. Proverbs 24:16 reminds us that a righteous person may fall seven times and rise again. That's the part I love: RISE AGAIN. You might have failed yesterday, rise again. You might have wasted years, rise again. Somebody might have walked away from you, rise again. Your plans might have fallen apart, rise again. You might be rebuilding with nothing but faith and determination in your hands. RISE. AGAIN.
Stop comparing your Chapter 3 to somebody else's Chapter 30. Stop assuming God forgot you because someone else received their blessing first. Their testimony is not your timeline, and their assignment is not your assignment. And stop praying for God to change your life while refusing to change the habits destroying it. Prayer requires faith, but faith should produce movement. Pray, then work. Believe, then move. Fall, then get up. Fail, then learn. Cry if you need to, but when those tears dry, KEEP GOING.
Philippians 4:13 doesn't say, “I can do all things because I'm naturally strong.” It says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Your strength has never had to come from you alone. When you're exhausted, lean on Him. When you're confused, seek Him. When you're afraid, trust Him. When you succeed, thank Him. And when you fall, reach for His hand and GET BACK UP.
One day you're going to look back at the season you almost quit and realize the pain didn't destroy you. It developed you. The rejection redirected you. The waiting matured you. The struggle strengthened you. The failure taught you. And God was working in places you couldn't see while you were wondering why nothing seemed to be happening. Some of the greatest work God will ever do in your life happens before anybody else can see the results.
So keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep working. Keep loving. Keep believing. Keep becoming. You don't need to see the entire staircase when you know Who is ordering your steps. Psalm 37:23 says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD.” Take the next step. Then another. Then another. You don't have to conquer the entire mountain today. You just cannot surrender your tomorrow because today became difficult.
And when that voice whispers, “You're finished,” remind yourself: God woke me up this morning. I'm still breathing. I'm still standing. My story is still being written. As long as God gives me another day, I have another opportunity to get back up, become better, love harder, serve deeper, and KEEP GOING.
❤️ I love you. I'm proud of you. I believe in you. But more importantly:
GOD ISN'T FINISHED WITH YOU YET. 🙏🔥
