The Good ✅ Caleb Douglas: His 94 receiving yards led all rookie receivers in Week 1. ✅ I thought Jacob Rodriguez looked and felt like the best player on the defense in his first career game as a pro. In fact, he get my game ball 🏈 ✅ Turnovers Created: Safeties Michael Taaffee and Dante Trader Jr. both picked off Kirk Cousins. The Bad ❌ Offensive Tackles: Patrick Paul had his worst game as a pro and Austin Jackson was embarrassing on the other side. ❌ Aaron Brewer. After being rewarded handsomely with a new contract, Brewer has his worst game since becoming a Dolphin. Two holding penalties and an overall poor performance. ❌ Coaching: Team really didn’t play with fire or energy. I thought Jeff Hafley would have this team more prepared. The run fits on defense were as bad as it gets and Bobby Slowik didn’t have a good day. The Ugly ❌ Special teams: new regime, same awful special teams. Riley Patterson missed an easy field goal, the punt coverage was bad allowing an average of 17.5 yards per punt return, but the kick coverage takes the case. Raiders return man returned two kickoffs for 95 YARDS. ❌ Chop “Milk Carton” Robinson: All offseason we heard he added muscle, we heard he looked good at camp, but when the bullets start flying, he is nowhere to be found. Just a shameful debut for Jeff Hafley if we’re being honest. The Las Vegas Raiders, Yes, the same team that had the first pick in last April’s draft dominated the Miami Dolphins today. It was never really a close game. To make matters worse, the Raiders didn’t even have Brock Bowers available for this game. Ashton Jeanty looked like Earl Campbell against our defensive front. 2007 was a bad, bad season. We could be on the cusps of something even worse in 2026. Buckle up.
