Well in champ. Best of luck in your next endeavor
31st October 2026 is officially my last day with Next Media.
Doing The Dugout for 8 years on Next Radio was pure fun. To the legend KK, who invited me to do the show, alongside Jonah, MJ, Desire, Hudson, JVN, Ernest, and all the guest analysts—I salute you all.
It was an honor being a part of NBS Sport since its launch in June 2022. The World Cup Chat with Vianney is up there with The Wire and Breaking Bad as one of the all-time great shows (don't argue 😅).
Sport This Evening with Andrew, Brian, Sera, and producer Kabenge was next level. And working with international commentator and wordsmith Jermaine on The Pavilion was an absolute masterclass.
I’ve been fortunate enough to interview and interact with international superstars, Ugandan sports legends, rising talent, politicians, and administrators.
My attempt at having intelligent conversations often drifted into my natural tendency to tell stupid jokes instead.
To the producers—Ali, Shafik, Grace, and the crew behind the scenes—thanks for making us look half-decent. To management, I appreciate the opportunity and platform to be part of such a massive media house.
To every single person who tuned in—the loyal fans, the casual listeners, and even the vocal critics, I am deeply grateful.
The laughter, the joy, the arguments, and the memories—it’s been an incredible journey with Next Media.
It's time for a new challenge.
Peace and love ✌️❤️

Bittersweet aptly describes this point.
Happy for your next chapter but pained to see you leave.
You, my guy, are a bonified Superstar.
Your wit, grace, tact, guile, depth of knowledge, range of perspective & barnful of dry jokes made each work day with you an experience.
I am richer in mind, manner and perception for spending all that time with you.
This isn't goodbye, simply see you on our NEXT episode of life!
P.S: You survived the Champions League Lingala remix but I think it is time to share with the world how much you enriched your Ugandan Music playlist.
Godspeed my friend. 👊🏾
