Using Quest Pro controllers with Apple Vision Pro, using iVRy apps for Quest and VisionOS, and iVRy driver for SteamVR. The WIP version of the iVRy Vision Pro app, with the WIP versions of the iVRy driver and iVRy Quest app, uses a Quest headset as a "tracking station" for Quest controllers, and VisionOS hand tracking to sync the controller and headset tracking spaces. Quest Pro controllers self track, so cannot be occluded, and can be used outside of the Quest and Vision Pro camera views. * Requires Quest 2/3 and Quest Pro controllers

Crushing a can in one hand with a virtual Index controller, while using a real Index controller in the other, with the iVRy app for Vision Pro in Half-Life: Alyx. The WIP version of the iVRy driver syncs Index (Lighthouse) and headset tracking spaces using VisionOS hand-tracking. The app/driver auto-switches between real and emulated controllers when the real controller is picked up/put down. The WIP version of the app adds full hand-tracking to Index controllers, not just the "finger curl" values given by the controller's sensors. * Requires Lighthouse base stations.

Throwing sticks with a gamepad in VR. The (BETA) iVRy app for Vision OS allows a gamepad to be used as a motion controller (with haptics and kinematics). Sony DualShock and DualSense support both on Vision OS, so a Sony gamepad can be used in place of motion controllers.

iVRy BETA app/driver for VisionPro updated This BETA has increased quality & performance, and allows up to ~4K per eye resolutions (SteamVR and many VR titles don't properly support higher resolutions). store.steampowered.com/news/… What is iVRy? It is an app/driver for (Windows) SteamVR, that allows you to use your Apple Vision Pro as a PCVR headset. This is a BETA test version, and so its purpose is to gather user feedback on any issues before the App Store version is released. The BETA is updated frequently, so please ensure you are using the latest version of the BETA and SteamVR driver. If you experience any issues, please report them via Testflight or the Steam forum. It is not possible to gather anecdotal reports from disparate internet sites. If you are not comfortable using BETA software, please wait until the app is released before using it. Thank you for your participation!

The iVRy app for VisionOS supports using Playstation Sense, DualSense and Dualshock controllers, as well as XBox gamepads and Nintendo Joycons as SteamVR motion controllers. Only Sony controllers support haptics, and only Sense controllers are tracked by VisionOS. Other controller types use VisionOS hand tracking for controller 6DOF tracking. Basic motion controllers can be emulated with hand tracking alone, and VisionOS hand tracking information is passed through to SteamVR for VR applications that support it. store.steampowered.com/news/…

One App/Driver to Rule Them All: The design goal of the iVRy software was to develop a VR-streaming client app that could be built for all mobile platforms from a single source code base (with platform-specific code where necessary). The client app communicates with a single PC driver, that is also able to support HDMI/DisplayPort wired headsets. Where possible the driver and client share source code (eg. network stack). This long journey is finally complete (at least until there is a new headset ecosystem)! Thank you to all those that have supported the project! The project is primarily developed in C++ with minimal Java/Objective-C/Swift scaffolding where required by the client platform. The PC UI is developed with Qt and Qml.
