This tweet and others I have seen reminds me of what happened during Portugalโs World Cup tournament, where Bruno Fernandes created a toxic attitude/division in the dressing room against Ronaldo. Bruno Fernandes and his gang, Vitinha and Joรฃo Neves, deprived Ronaldo of the ball during the World Cup until Portugal got eliminated by Spain, simply because he wanted to be the face of Portugal ahead of Ronaldo, which didnโt work out.
Here we are at Man United, and he has started the same thing. His fans are claiming there is no connection between Rashford and Bruno, but why is Bruno Fernandes doing that? He knows he doesnโt command the same respect and audience Rashford has. Rashford coming back will isolate him and deprive him of being the face of Man United, even as the captain.
Now theyโre ganging up against Rashford and isolating him. Itโs just a matter of time. Soon he will leave Man United and retire without a single trophy. We will see what he will ultimately be remembered for.
