When will there be some actual help for the millions who get up and work 40+ hours every week, pay their taxes and contribute? We’re getting squeezed from every direction and seem to qualify for absolutely nothing.

It is clear that many foreign student loans are a scam on the British taxpayer. Given we have £3 trillion in national debt, why are these loans even being granted? The British state is a soft touch for foreign fraudsters.
Foreign national students debt in the UK has gone from £93 million to £1.21 billion in under 10 years. When i saw that i knew i had to break down the data by nationality: 🧵

Chancellor plans major intervention to help poorer UK households with rising energy bills. His idea? Increase the discount given to those on certain benefits & have that funded by taxpayers🤯 At this rate, millions will soon calculate that they are better off going on benefits rather than working. Mark my words - this country is in trouble🤦🏼‍♀️ theguardian.com/money/2026/o…

Agreed 're the credit card. Having one & not using it counts again at you. I got rid of a Barclaycard that I hadn't used for years as another card gave me more cashback. I am now down to two, one for day to day usage & the other used as a backup. I spend on it quarterly.
My credit rating has dropped 12 points No change No one knows why Fair enough Very transparent as usual

Weird, because you were happy for the Labour Party to carry out an internal investigation into Nick Brown, and never mentioned the police once despite the allegations being of a criminal nature.
There's more whitewash in this report than at your local B&Q. Nothing in it exonerates Reform UK and Nigel Farage. They're not above the rules. The sleaze, scandal and police investigations aren’t going away. It’s time to stop the cover ups and come clean to the public.

Yet they keep residents inside a security zone in Gosport while escorting illegal migrants out of the area. No wonder there is a perception of two tier policing
Refusing to ban it Lying and pretending you can't ban it Putting on weak and pathetic conditions Refusing to enforce even those. We all see you @metpoliceuk

Catching up with one of the old repeats of #aplaceinthesun on Four 7. They are on the Costs Dorada (Salou) looking for a coast holiday apartment & the value is incredible compared to the Costa Del Sol & Blanca.

Perhaps something the @USNavy could trial too. Interesting thought that food is now available to suit watches and operational needs.
🍽️No more waiting for mealtimes HMS Queen Elizabeth is trialling a new "grazing galley", serving food continuously from 9am to 6pm as the Royal Navy looks to modernise life at sea Could flexible dining be the future for sailors?🔗⬇️ forcesnews.com/services/navy…

The Tories have managed to stumble upon the absolute worst way to abolish inheritance tax. Taxing everything else but exempting family homes just incentivises old people to pile more of their wealth into housing and never downsize. Lunacy in an already gummed-up housing market.

Where are the riot uniforms and shields? Two tier policing on show.
Look at these Islamists in London being physically confrontational with the Met Police. Now if they were holding Union or St George’s flags, half of parliament would have condemned it by now and it would be the top BBC story for the next 48 hours.

John Healey is rumoured to be preparing a £1billion bailout for soaring energy bills at the Budget. The catch? The lion's share of relief will go to benefits claimants, meaning Labour will once again force the innocent taxpayer to fund every penny. This move from the Chancellor is like a bandage plastered over a shotgun wound. Scrap Net Zero and prioritise hardworking Brits!
