Abu Obeida’s speech on the third anniversary of Tufan al-Aqsa, in which he voices solidarity with Sudan, Libya, Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran (translation my own):
“Three years have passed since the Sacred Crossing, the day when men’s strength shattered the occupation’s security doctrine once and for all. By the grace of God Almighty, neither deterrence, decisive victory, nor warning remained. A tribute steeped in pride and glory to the heroes and shahīds of the Great Crossing, leaders and soldiers alike, and to our great people, the beginning and end of this story.
O people of mighty Gaza… The price was heavy, but your deed was great. Generations will remember you as makers of glory who changed the face of history and the global balance of power. They will remember you as those who stood guard, defending the umma’s honor and holy sites on this narrow, besieged patch of land, which awakened the consciences of the free and exposed all who conspired or withheld support.
By God’s grace and favor, 7 October was a military miracle. The enemy acknowledged, even before the friend, the greatness of its planning and execution and the ingenuity of its carefully orchestrated strategic deception. The resistance fighters excelled at harnessing every threat and opportunity, including Netanyahu’s narcissism, arrogance, and contempt for his opponents.
Palestine will never forget those who supported her, especially those who shed their blood for her. The desecration of Al-Aqsa and Gaza’s bleeding wound cry out to everyone, without exception. Sudan and Libya are no less bold or zealous than Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran. Everyone saw how simple drones arriving from various fronts robbed the enemy of sleep, proving that no one has an excuse for failing to act. What, then, if a western front were opened against the enemy?!”
