Blockchains can't speak to the real world.
To get information from the real world onchain so a contract can use it, we have oracles.
For every oracle onchain, someone offchain has to find all the data sources, collect the data, build the pipeline, maintain the pipeline and prove themselves trustworthy.
This is expensive and tedious. Even more so for super specific oracles that might only have a single use case inside a single protocol/token concept.
Lots of friction can kill ideas before they even get developed.
$IMD solves this. Here's a retarded example:
I want a defi protocol that rebalances its liquidity pools based on the current migratory pattern/location of geese in the northern hemisphere.
This is already technically possible. But it's definitely not worth all the hassle of setting up an oracle for it (unless geese can beat the market).
IMD removes all of that hassle and turns this into something easy to build.
The point is not this single really dumb use case.
The point is that there is an infinite world of possibilities out there that is largely left alone because of the friction.
There's another infinite world of things that just aren't possible now with the rigid structure of current oracle infra.
But not for much longer.

once people realize $IMD is sitting at $22m mc with only 2000 NFTs and a $7.6M implied floor, i think the repricing starts making a lot more sense.
those nfts are your pass into the network.
run agents, build, participate in markets, launch stuff and eventually capture part of the economy around it.
15% of every retired IMD is already routed into the reward/reserve side:
4.5% sIMD
6% agent/orchestrator
4.5% NFT inference nodes
and if the network keeps growing (which i'm sure it will) while supply stays at 2k, more people are gonna want a to jump in.
then you look at 1.45 ETH and still think it’s expensive but you’re basically buying a seat before the room gets crowded.
so you're gonna midcurve it while to me the direction this is taking is pretty clear.
for now only a few get it.

What's intriguing about developing services on mesh of meshes like Ratspeak / Reticulum is that you ultimately do need coordination if you want reliability.
Many scaling and incentive experiments from Bitcoin and Ethereum's history apply.

I've been going back and forth on: wallet inside of RatSpeak or using a signature from another wallet.
