The Interchain Foundation is announcing an updated version of its ATOM delegation program. The redesign follows months of internal review to improve incentive alignment, support high-performing validators, and empower partners growing the Cosmos Hub and ecosystem.
This blog explains the rationale, outlines the new program, and introduces the initial validator cohort.

The Interchain Foundation today announced changes to the composition of its Foundation Council. The changes follow the Foundation’s regular governance cycle, under which Council members serve fixed one-year terms, and the Council is refreshed by election.
As of the annual election on Monday, June 22, 2026, the Council composition is as follows: new member Biba Homsy has become President and Former President Josh Cincinnati is now Vice President.
The Council also welcomed two new members: Ryan Pripstein and Dr Radisav Cojbasic.

The Interchain Foundation is committed to supporting the development of the Cosmos ecosystem. We recognize the impact that the recent Cosmos EVM incident had on the teams who trust and rely on Cosmos technologies for their deployments.
In light of this, the ICF is establishing a discretionary grant program to support affected chains that collaborated with remediation efforts. As part of the same program and alongside the community – the Foundation will dedicate resources to further strengthening security practices, infrastructure, and incident response capabilities across the ecosystem.
We will continue investing in the resilience and security of Cosmos. Further details regarding the new grant program will be shared in the coming days.

Between August 20th and August 25th, attackers exploited a vulnerability in Cosmos EVM to extract funds from multiple Cosmos-based blockchains. We are committed to strengthening the systems and processes we rely on for security and are grateful for the collaboration of the affected teams and security researchers.

The grant program is offered on a voluntary basis at the ICF’s sole discretion. Any future situation will be assessed independently based on facts and circumstances at the time, and future grants cannot be guaranteed.
Blockchains that had received security notifications but were unresponsive after multiple communication attempts, did not follow suggested actions, or did not make good faith efforts to patch the chain will not be eligible for any grants.
