Good morning @arc -hitects and welcome to another new week packed with lots of events in the arc community, so this week i want to share something new with us, i built an onchain tip jar on arc testnet. What’s Jar? jar is a single page app that let’s anyone send usdc to a wallet with a short message attached, it doesn’t really require a sign up , nor backend account, not even a token approval step, it works simply by letting you connect your wallet, pick an amount, write something & send. Jar is currently running on arc Testnet where usdc is the native gas token, this details matters more than it sounds, so on most chains a stablecoins tip means an ERC-20 approval followed by a transfer , two transactions and two chances to confuse someone who has never used a wallet , but on arc the tip is a plain value transfer , so it’s one signature and one confirmation. what it actually does; the contract stores every tip onchain with the sender , the amount , the message and time stamp , the page itself shows the running total and the twenty most recent entries, new tips arrives over a smart contract event listener , so the list updates while you’re looking at it, the Jar owner sees a withdraw button that nobody else does.
