I’m glad President Trump is meeting with President Xi. I’m no fan of socialism or one party systems. But if you’re not talking, you risk biological war and nuclear war. We need more talk and less war.

The claim is off on two points. January 2025 estimates were already about $6–7 billion. Forbes now has him near $7 billion. That is not a near-tripling since last January.$6.3 billion was an older spring 2026 Forbes snapshot, not today’s figure. The “almost 3x” line only works if you start from ~$2.3–2.4 billion in 2021 or early 2024—not from January 2025. The real story: wealth did rise a lot after 2024, mainly from crypto, clubs, and Truth Social paper value. You can debate the ethics of that. You don’t need a false 20-month 3x to do it.

Am I the only Canadian wondering why Carney didn’t meet with Trump to discuss the massive tariff problem we have well he was in NY with him. I think it’s pretty obvious not having a deal with the US is exactly what Carney wants. The question is why?
