self-taught AI engineer & product manager portform.co @ forms without a backend hoverstate.design @ design inspiration & discovery

if you had to pick one rn: cloud agent: Muse / Grok / Dot self-hosted: Hermes / OpenClaw which route are you taking? i can’t decide if i want convenience or full control 😭

the new SaaS funnel: write a genuinely useful reddit post - offer a free resource - resource is branded - user discovers your product - now you have a lead way more subtle than “hey guys, check out my SaaS.”

i think “integration” is going to become one of the biggest moats in AI. not the model. not the prompt. not even the agent. having access to the right data + systems + permissions is the real advantage.

i didn't post on x for a month. instead, i tried to see how much i could build in 30 days. in about 2 weeks, portform hit 100 users and 11 paid users. portform is a form backend built for websites and AI agents. you can test forms anonymously in a sandbox, configure everything before signing up, and connect AI agents through MCP. it's freemium, so most users are still on the free plan with 300 submissions. but seeing people actually pay for something i built was a pretty good signal. also grew hoverstate design to 1.5k+ monthly active users in around 2 weeks. hoverstate is a curated gallery of real websites, landing pages, and design sections for inspiration. somewhere in between all that, i had university finals too lol. and because apparently that wasn't enough, i also started working on a real FMCG product. it's a tea brand. currently working on product development, testing, and figuring out the whole thing from scratch. gonna share more about that soon. so yeah, i spent the last month building instead of posting about building. turns out SaaS still works in 2026. now time to shitpost more actively about what i'm building again.

enjoying this drama lol 2026 is gonna end with: who’s got whose agent? my prediction: by the end of 2026, the dark web is gonna be full of leaked AI account credentials. marketers, get ready for the most cursed retargeting campaigns ever
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO WAY. > OpenAI just announced Dots. > SpaceXAI bought Dot.com it redirects straight to the Grok Bot download page. based lmao.

6 months ago i was broke with 0 users and no idea what i was doing today i'm proud to announce that we've reached 0 users 0 revenue 0 employees 0 funding but the mindset is different now we're no longer building for validation we're building for the journey next stop: 1 user never give up.

something i've noticed on r/entrepreneur, r/startups, r/saas etc: a lot of “organic” posts are basically ads with extra steps. “here's my free notion guide” - click the link - download the template - template is branded around their SaaS - now you're in their funnel nothing wrong with it. it's just interesting how much of reddit growth is basically content marketing wearing an organic costume.

half of x is founders selling tools to founders who are building tools for founders grow on x tools, linkedin growth automation, reddit posting automation, subreddit posting tools, cold outreach tools founder sells tool to founder founder uses it to reach another founder that founder sells another tool to a founder infinite founder loop lol at some point the customer is just another founder trying to reach another founder
X is full of founders So… where are the customers?

we somehow reinvented advertising except now: the advertiser is a founder the audience is founders the publisher is a founder and everyone is selling something 😭

apparently people are actually using hoverstate design lol 222 active users 3,164 events and the weird part is, it’s only 2 weeks old. i’ve always had this habit of bookmarking creative websites whenever i found something cool. ended up with hundreds of bookmarks for “design inspo” that i never opened again. so i turned that bookmark graveyard into a product.
