For almost 30 yrs my job has been convincing companies, many of them Fortune 500, that they should expand into SLC & Utah. I’ve toured 1000’s of out of towners through the city and state.
I’m born and raised in SLC. 5th gen. I’ve seen every yr and decade of SLC evolution since the 70’s.
There is ZERO argument that today is the absolute best version of SLC in the last 50 yrs. It’s ascendancy is parabolic right now. Plenty of bumps and issues to iron out, but the trend line is awesome. Always long SLC, always long UT.

My sister is coming in December from Alaska. She’s become a massive hockey fan since moving north. Originally she wanted to go to the outdoor game on Jan 1, but the prices are insane.

My dear Kirsten passed away yesterday peacefully in her sleep. She fought cancer with everything she had, she was so brave and did so many hard things…I’m gonna miss her terribly. Today is our 12 yr anniversary, we built an amazing life in those 12 years, 2 homes, 2 kids, 3 dogs, countless memories. I love you Kirsten with all my heart. ❤️
