Shit has to be be consistent. We have got to stop begging a premium price across the board if the quality isn't scaled the same.
If you have those fuckin crazy batches, sure tax more if they're special. But when it's not that, why should everyone else just have to pay up so that the brand doesn't have to suffer?
I'm not a brand or a grower so I can only speak from a "custy" perspective, but if there's no money to be made on anything less than 200/7 or 11k a 🥣 when your quality isn't even at its highest, then what are we even doing here?
No doubt in my mind TT is a very talented grower, and they aren't the worst offenders at all from what I've seen. Several brands are following this model and pushing even more extreme prices for smalls/mids/etc. Like what the fuck lmao😆
When you charge exorbitant amounts for your products, the standards are set much much much higher. There is no room for anything less than absolutely stellar, top-notch batches when we're talking these tickets🤦♂️
Ya but you should also agree that consistency and price points should match up. I see the defense, but he should’ve been on the offense, knowing his quality and having a good QC team around him to put a proper price on the batches but no, they gotta eat no matter what at the expense of their “custys”. There’s no reason why they need to be jacking their prices up to 11,000 a pound. Or $200 a seven on mid batches when they can’t even get the batches to be consistent. But the top people are close enough to keep peddling pushing and keeping it quiet when it’s not. That’s gotta stop. People need to stop supporting these guys that’s all. They’ll learn.
