cheapest growth move ive found on X: post "looking to connect with [specific people]. drop what youre building." then do the actual work. reply to every single one. check their profile. follow the ones actually shipping. the post is the hook. the replies are the growth. most people post it and leave.

if youre under 1k followers, threads are mostly you talking to yourself. what i actually do: treat X like a job. every day i open notifications, reply to builders a bit bigger than me, and follow back the ones shipping real stuff. the reply has to be an opinion. "great post" is invisible. replies get you seen. your profile gets you followed. threads come later.

cold email setup, in the order that actually works: 1. buy sending domains (not your brand) 2. order inboxes, 3 per domain 3. set nameservers where the inbox provider tells you 4. wait for dns. dont touch anything 5. put every login in one sheet 6. warm up for 3 weeks 7. write copy copy is step 7. most people start there and wonder why they land in spam.

if people nod in demos and dont buy, you dont have a sales problem. you have an offer problem. i overbuilt a gtm tool. every demo i showed more features. every demo got muddier. test: can you say what they get in one sentence with an outcome in it? if not, cut features until you can. nobody buys a superapp. they buy one thing fixed.

Why do vibecoders get so much hate?

if AI does all the work, what the fuck are we getting paid for?

day 5 check-in. whats actually happening: content: spent today turning agent work into something humans can steal. built a simple process for reddit + gtm content (short → article). then killed a fat outbound article that sounded like a robot wrote an sop. rewrote it as email infra only: domains → inboxes → dns → warmup. exact prompts. grokbot as employees for the boring tabs. ops: same bottleneck as day 2 honestly. inboxes still warming. cant pretend volume is live yet. linkedin avatars still slow. necessary. annoying. product: still cutting arnies. every feature i delete makes the offer clearer. still not clear enough. mrr: still ~$1k. flat. posting it again so i dont lie to myself. twitter: replies every day. notifications. follow backs. distribution is still the job. content is the side quest that makes the replies better. hardships in one line: writing the real playbook while infra is still warming, product still too fat, mrr still stuck. what im doing next: finish the email infra article until itd actually help someone copy it keep cutting arnies until one outcome is obvious wait out warmup → then real outbound stay in the replies. no disappearing after a good day if youre also building with agents as staff (not chat toys) — drop what you handed them this week. ill follow the ones doing real work. still early. still ugly. still going. day 5 to 10k.

most people use ai to write better emails. we use agents to set up the email infrastructure. domains, inboxes, warmup. the boring tabs nobody wants. thats where the hours actually go. You can do all of this with Grokbot Grokbot is the equivalent of hiring employees as agents

I've decided to significantly simplify the offer and onboarding, arnies is going to be an autopilot GTM agent that finds warm leads for you using our own infrastructure

day 4 building in public goal: take @itzSaasified to 10K day 4 check-in. still not a highlight reel. whats actually happening: product: arnies got too fat. i built a gtm "superapp" for people who live in 40 tabs. then demos got muddy. offer got fuzzy. people nodded and didnt buy. so im cutting. removing features until one outcome is obvious. second saas from zero still feels like the abyss. life rewards knowing what to delete. ops: agents are eating the boring stuff (domains, inboxes, warmup, the tabs). email side still waiting on warmup before we can push volume properly. linkedin / linkedify: still spinning accounts. slow. necessary. sales / mrr: arnies still around ~$1k mrr. flat. not dying. not exploding. twitter: showing up like a job. daily replies. notifications. follow backs. connect with builders. followed a bunch of indie saas people who are actually shipping. still early on the account. replies > threads. day 1 lesson still holds. hardships in one line: simplifying a product i overbuilt, waiting on infra warmup, mrr flat, grinding distribution by hand. what im doing next: - keep cutting until the offer is stupidly clear - finish warmup → real outbound volume - stay in the replies every day - post the real numbers even when theyre mid if youre building something messy too — drop what youre shipping in one line. ill follow the ones that dont sound like a pitch deck. still early. still ugly. still going. day 4 to 10k.

Please dont make this mistake If youre bootstrapped, dont make a product that will compete directly with the big dawgs Offer something they cant offer no matter what they do. This is something i advise for anyone building.

Things get easier when you identify the patterns Software is becoming done with you.

What if we're all just a bunch of agents born out of one humungous LLM?

we built for gtm engineers and kept adding then realised people dont want a swiss army knife. they want one outcome that just works

your competitors product flows are the best kept hidden secrets. They've done the work, A/B tests, copy variants, messaging, customer flowers get grok to do an E2E test on every single flow, and make a better version, make it simpler, more intuitive the roi you'll get is insane
