“You will remain in state custody until, by execution, you are dead. May God have mercy on your soul.” More than a verdict, it’s a promise to victim’s families. Christa Pike is still alive and the only apology that needs to be issued is to the family of Colleen Slemmer.

There will never be a document more important written in this country. We celebrate our great country and the 39 signatures who took the lead in establishing us as an independent, sovereign nation. Happy Constitution Day.

This is a great example of the problem at @NC5. Try these questions: Could this impact emergency comms with parents? Have medical and other exceptions been considered? See, journalism not interrogation with leading questions. Look for answers instead of providing them.
So are you saying she doesn’t want children to be able to be in contact with parents between classes? Or to have phones in case of emergencies? Or to check blood sugar? “No exceptions?” Do you support taking that decision-making away from local schools?

Wrong again @PhilNvestigates. We passed a law requiring SOME policy on cell restriction but it is not uniform state wide and not “bell to bell”. Your networks infatuation with spin narratives on @MarshaBlackburn is so disgusting. But this pattern isn’t unique for yall.
Marsha Blackburn’s latest TV ad: “My plan: Bell to bell, no cell.” Tennessee lawmakers passed that legislation, and Gov. Bill Lee signed it into law, last year.
