Could see altcoin strength this cycle after last cycle was dominated by BTC. Also BTC had its big ETF trigger plus the treasury company prop up part last cycle and I think alts may play catchup. That said never can or should fade BTC. Ultra long term it has been a gem.

Quick update on my post as @variational_io just confirmed the numbers for the $VAR airdrop.
I previously estimated that 10%-25% of the supply could go to point farmers.
The official number is 32%.
> TGE is schedule for Q4 2026
> 100% unlocked at TGE
> 150K new points distributed weekly until launch
Depending on the TGE date, I estimate the final supply at roughly 9.5M-11M points.
At a $3B FDV, that would value each point ~$87-$101.
The allocation is bigger than expected, but because farming continues until TGE, point dilution will continue too.
Anyhow, congrats to everyone who stacked points, this will surely be a big win.

Based on these metrics, I think a $2B-$4B FDV seems reasonable for $VAR.
150K points are currently distributed each week.
The campaign should ends this month with roughly 9.15M total points, and rumors says 10% to 25% of the supply will be airdropped, each point could be worth:
> 10% airdrop: $32.79
> 15% airdrop: $49.18
> 20% airdrop: $65.57
> 25% airdrop: $81.97
That’s based on a $3B FDV.
Of course, the final point supply, token allocation and tokenomics are still unconfirmed.
Still, Variational is definitely one of the most interesting upcoming airdrops.

btw, it says one day after launch, so they can easily launch higher and dip a bit within 24 hours
that’s the most likely outcome, since there are a lot of farmers and people who are going to take profits (huge profits)
so if it launches at $1b fdv, that doesn’t mean it’s going to stay like that a day after
