Ain't nobody can take the 'Cool Uncle' title away from me!
Opus 5.5 designing LEGO 👀 I asked it to design a Microduck I can build with real LEGO pieces. It: > designed it life-size using 1113 real LEGO parts > verified: 3,204 connections, 0 collisions, every step buildable, centre of mass inside the feet 🤯 > made a 141-page LEGO-style booklet (237 steps) > priced every piece in the browser and prepared the orders on BrickLink

The holy grail for robotics is being able to generalize: doing work in unseen places We rented 30 homes in the Bay Area and are doing tasks without any new training

What's the point of having a surgical practice if your OR sits empty most of the day?! The cleanest adoption argument anyone has given me, and it came from the buyer not from me. He does not want fewer staff, he wants the same staff freed.

Mid objection about price against a platform quote, the line that moved it was not a discount and not a feature. It was distance. Twenty minutes away vs a support queue. That's what I love about this, I can be sat at your desk in 20 and be home in the same hour for dinner

Digital outbound converts poorly for my retreat operator and warm introductions are the actual engine. That flipped my whole first session plan from building a cold list to mapping the warm paths.

Last month a construction CEO told me he'd spent 12 months and nearly $250k trying to find software that would show him where his projects stand. I built him a dashboard overnight. Video below. Now I'm looking for the next one. HVAC companies, plumbers, gyms, landscapers, restaurants, dental offices, anyone running a business between Novato and San Jose who is still doing invoices at 10pm and building their own marketing on a Sunday. If you sit in a chamber of commerce in Marin, San Francisco or the East Bay, you know exactly who that person is. Tag them below. If you are that person, DM me. I'll drive to your shop, sit at your desk for an hour and show you the first thing I'd fix.

The scope put hard gates on automation. Run a workflow manually three times before discussing automating it. Review two cycles before it is trusted. Nothing auto sends. Client self rates each workflow one to five and anything under four gets fixed rather than automated.

Gemini 3.5 Transcribe landed August 26. A 4.0% streaming word error rate, 85 plus languages, strips the ums and catches you correcting yourself mid sentence. Quoting a job is a transcription problem before it is a pricing problem. You already said the scope out loud walking the site.

enterprise buyers now re-evaluate their AI vendors every 6 months and 95% of pilots never show ROI. Nobody I work with has that problem. A construction CEO doing north of $50m a year spent 12 months and $250k looking for software and got nowhere. I sat in his office, built exactly what he needed overnight. The churn isn't AI. nobody ever showed up in the first place. True value is walking straight into a business and doing the thing right in front of them.
The AI era has completely broken enterprise buying patterns, and startups haven't yet figured out how to navigate. spr.ly/6018BG6OOu
