New pod 🎙️ w/ support & eng leaders at @attio!
The AI-native CRM is used by teams at Granola, Replicate, Railway & Public.
And they've been growing extremely fast - doubling their headcount over the course of this year.
We spoke w/ Elyse Mankin (Head of Support) and Philip Beevers (VP of Engineering) to understand how their teams have adapted to keep up with this rapid growth.
Let's get into it!
We built a set of OSS tools for devs who don't like ads!
Launching today: Regex Playground - a contribution from AI 🔥
Completely built by @cognition's Devin, check it out: jam.dev/utilities/regex-test…
2026 is the year of the support engineer 🔥
Here's Susana de Sousa from @plainsupport on why!
P.S. Catch her IRL tomorrow at Plain x Jam Happy hour in SF: luma.com/x9n37nbt
Someone created the 13 millionth Jam today!!
We tried to figure out how to celebrate.
So we’re eating 13 million gummy worms in your honor.
Yum! I’m a turkey and I love bugs.
Susana de Sousa is the Head of Community at @plainsupport - an AI-native customer support platform used by teams at Cursor, Raycast, Granola, and n8n.
In our conversation she shared how the customer support function is going through an identity shift:
The old playbook is dying (if not dead already), and the new one isn't fully written yet.
She unpacked why support is no longer just about resolving tickets, but more about engineering (increasingly) technical systems that remove the need for tickets in the first place.
Susana shares a very grounded view of where support is going and what support leaders should be thinking about as we head into 2026.
Let's get into it!
Finally, we can get rid of this technical vs. non-technical distinction.
More and more teams are shipping PRs. That’s the way the world is heading. We all contribute, we're all one team!
