Personally I’d be a lot less worried about the Boxpark-ification of the stands if alcohol was allowed in view of the pitch, a lot more miffed about having to be up and down every 10 minutes while someone along the row pops out for another pint.

This has to change and it’s on IFAB. Wrong decisions explained away to justify the primacy of on-field referees. Why is that this technology is being used for?
Here’s the problem with the confirmatory VAR processes across the game. The VAR sees what the referee sees so the decision stands despite all the other evidence. Even with the current processes this is a mistake but you can see how it was made.

Such an impressive game from Iwobi with and without the ball. He showed game intelligence in his every action, his movement to receive the ball creating space for himself and others. Can't shake the sense that United made him look even better but he is a high grade PL pro.

Not sure the TV cameras will have spotted how abysmal United's defending of their left flank was just there. Robinson advances, Mbeumo does not track at all.
Iwobi moves infield and through it all Dalot seems trapped with decision paralysis, taking the worst of many bad options.
