Here's the Faculty's @jagjit_chadha on the UK's Bond Market worries:
#Bond markets are not only worried about total rich country debt they are focussing on the UK as the litmus test and our pH levels are rising. Political sceloris and fiscal incontinence is driving up long term borrowing costs and crowding out #fiscal space for necessary public investment. We are edging nearer a full blown fiscal crisis. Interest payments alone on our debt are edging to 4% of GDP. Note we aspire to spend 3% of GDP on defence! Good to talk to @romillyweeks and @itn_news. @CamEcon @econromesh @dsmitheconomics @DreValentino @LiamHalligan
