the internet is full of forgotten films
so i built a website with over 120,000 historical public-domain clips, dating 1894 to 2021!
all free to use, and waiting to be seen again.

now THIS is the testing i needed.
i donāt need any other technical stuff lol def upgrading my 15 pro to an 18 pro this year.
Hereās some iPhone 18 Pro sample photos I shot over the last week. Thoughts in a thread:
The new imaging pipeline is really great. I used to never use ProRaw because it still left the same artifacting that SooC HEIFs have traditionally done, but the new pipeline does less sharpening out of the gate which improves color and texture. Often times I didnāt have to touch the image in post at all, which was wild to me. Texture and color have really improved year over year

Felt chilly today so knitted little sweaters for my windows š§¶
A little macOS app that wraps windows in knitted borders, with colours inspired by each app.

hereās a quick demo of a macos writerdeck iām throwing together with this 60fps eink display. you can see more of the ghosting in this demo, but i feel it works well enough for light typing and browsing.

I'm in complete awe of how beautiful these vintage Japanese train tickets are!
Each one is a little work of art.
Tiny, ephemeral and stunning.

Maybe you donāt need an iPod to make Music fun again after all?
I built this music player around the @8BitDo FlipPad mostly to see what happens when you stop treating the iPhone as a finished object. The moment hardware can change how software feels and behaves, the phone becomes something else entirely.
I really think thereās a whole category of products hiding here, and weāve barely started exploring it. Imagine a Click Wheel you can connect, a keyboard, new controls, new interfaces, entire accessories built around specific software.
Designed with @Fibble_design , built with Appsy.

YES.
i honestly couldāve let all the other stuff go but what tipped me off the edge is the lack of transparency/comms and the complete disregard for community.
Why I stopped using wabi you ask? Where do I start: too slow to update in rapidly changing landscape, lack of comms/transparency with users, NO FREE TIER ANYMORE in trumps economyš¤¦š¾āāļø, clunky & over engineered discovery page and finally lack of community presence offline.
