AI is my travel buddy. I was able to get from my hotel to the front runner (walking), front runner to bus, bus to creamery and now I am geaded to the City Center Temple to walk around. All I see are students. With hopeful futures. I had that once. It is so fun listening to them plan and discuss classes. In another life I want to be a permanent student!

My 2 week journey in the SL Valley is into day 3. I have decided not to drive, and will use UBER sparingly. So, right now i am learning how to use Front Runner and TRAX in combination. I have never ridden on Front Runner. My son said “old ladies” shouldn’t use Front Runner because it is dangerous. The most dangerous thing so far is my panic at not figuring out how to get the card filled. Huh. Old lady indeed!

My world is limited. I chose to limit it. War movies/shows bring out my PTSD and my husband loves to watch them. I understand. Before I went to war I was fascinated with the concept. I no longer need to view a concept. I see it like it was and it wasn’t pretty. How do you survive the mental when a scud is shot up and you have no idea where it will land? How do you know that the next time you go into a store it will not be attacked by a crazy person. I know, it is by the Grace of God that I am here. I just struggle with the concept of peace. Even the Prince of Peace was sacrificed. Yup. I am certifiably crazy

We are heading to the Big City today. The husband has to have surgery and I am going in for a neurology appointment. Getting old really is hard, but we are hanging in there. I figure i have about 10 years left on this earth before I open my eyes and look forward to anew world. Hopefully I can be relatively healthy for those years.
