The longer AI is forced on us, the more demand there will be for handmade art. Even though people have less now, they’re still spending more than ever on real art. My abstract painting business has been exploding because people are excited to fight back in any way they can.

I said this a year ago: human-made art will become a luxury good, just like local and nutritious food, natural-fiber clothing, and tech-free education for children. Basic human things are increasingly only for the rich.

there's a reason why animation is a whole college course. technology has made people complacent because nowadays you can pretend to be what you're not with a single prompt, but if you try to make them do things the way they're supposed to be, this is exactly what happens.

Cache is insanely talented and we run in the same VFX circles, so it's super lame to see a massive production straight up steal her work. A$AP's vid is credited to AI Artists, so the question is did they knowingly rip off the clip or just not know where their prompting was stealing from? Either way, bad form.
