BUILDING A COMMUNITY OR BUILDING AN AUDIENCE?
Communities are built on relationships. They grow when people choose to show up for each other: to talk, listen, ask questions, encourage, share, help, debate, be honest and have real conversations.
Support doesn't always mean buying something, liking every post or loving everything somebody creates. Sometimes it's just showing genuine interest in the person, whether that's a conversation, a word of encouragement or a share, in whatever way makes sense to you.
Community isn't about keeping score or collecting a debt because you supported someone first. Nothing is owed. The best ones are where the interest goes both ways.
Community isn't measured by what people owe each other. It's built by what people choose to give each other.
