Honestly, going forward, I'm leaving research about policy statements to others, the only thing I look out for in a political candidate is credibility. Credibility = antecedent + track record + reputation. I bawled my eyes out on Facebook then that Buhari had zero credibility based on his first rule. My age mates and "elders" argued that this is now a Democracy and it will be different. I was 21 then. 12 years later, I can see that especially in Africa, that's the only thing to look out for. Go back to a man's past, look for his antecedents to cover up things or be transparent, to blame or to take responsibility, to own or to outsource thinking, you'll see a very very easy choice to make. In this age, the only man that answers the question of credibility is Peter Obi. It's the plain truth. Debating against it is a choice of whether you want to sacrifice another 8 to 12 years of your life for self-serving reasons.
