I am mulling over in my mind if French-style protests will come to the UK soon. For example, today my secondary school children have had their ski trip cancelled. Whilst they haven't formally confirmed, due to rumours - they are likely cancelling the school's Christmas performance. We also have supply teachers that have noticeably been taking up long-standing roles within their school. My town is quietish/peaceful in nature. If this is happening across more demanding cities in the UK, that's why I'm wondering if this is coming our way....I hope not. UK citizens don't like burning down our stuff. We just like Nike shoes and things....we also tend to do the silly things when its nice long Summer days....aided with the help of adolescence on their Summer hols...

Theoretically speaking what could stop two people being: 1. A premier league manager together 2. A prime minister together 3. A president together The way the world has gone - society is impatient. It’s lonely on your own. Yes there must be ego and ambition attached to having these titles as/for yourself. However, could be some good of it. Two different personalities driving and working their strengths. Better decisions being made. Better handling of questions and PR? It seems like a no brainer in the future. @grok any thoughts on realities of these?

Fair play @David_Ornstein on @WeAreTheOverlap šŸ‘šŸ‘. So are we predicting then that Manchester City’s evidence will try to stop at the origin of monies from a certain layer? See diagram. Throw in International transfers and the complexities of ā€œclearing accountsā€. I’m just trying to get pragmatic here. International business minimise their tax exposure all of the time doing stuff like this. These rabbit warrens of ā€œlayersā€ of ownership can be ongoing: Like a door opens another door and it goes on and on - almost making it impossible to find the original source of funds.

Whilst I think this Man City stuff is entertaining, I’m certainly not going to get on my soap box as a United fan. I’m sure of it’s time Fergie got up to some dark arts to ensure staying successful.

I now wonder if the Glaziers decision to bring in a Brit element of ownership in Ratcliffe was a consideration of where the tide may go in the future of international ownership of Premier league teams. Wouldn’t have considered until now. However, with Ratcliffe on the Reform political bandwagon / narrative and with the pressure that might eventually be on Man City’s owners to sell the club. Could see a landscape change on the horizon….

We've gone from "working people" to "hope". Les go....hint of sarcasm

Blair dropped ā€œThings Can Only Get Betterā€ by D:Ream. Burnham drops ā€œAll Together Nowā€, by The Farm šŸ™ˆšŸ˜¬

Also every City away game for the rest of the season will be a zoo of booing šŸ˜†

You’ve got to think…and with international break - every Man City player has been on the phone to their agent. The City players are going to be thinking about themselves right now. Could the January transfer window be very unusual….

These 115 Man City charges are wild. There will be a documentary that one day deconstructs this. It will be….probably….. quite damning.

From the bottom of my heart, congratulations to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jose Mourinho for their premier league titles with Manchester United. (Congratulations also to Sir Alex Ferguson for further league titles). Forwarded 1000 of times.

Okay, I’ll admit. Rooney and Goldbridge’s Tuesdays have become the new Overlap. Just the start of the week version. 😁
