A new model comes out, someone makes something that’s insane that I’ve never seen before. I bookmark it. I share it with a friend. They say “holy shit”. as the official “brand engineer” at @clay I’ve been having lots of conversations about what it is and how we now work. I was able to chat with @PaulJun_ earlier this year about it and more recently with @diegozaks who showed me how this process works under the hood at ramp. right now we’re all trying to figure out how to structure our teams in this new world but the jazz metaphor hits. If you’ve ever worked with design systems and figma components this shit is no different. But rather a living breathing ecosystem in code (brand guideline) that does a lot of production work while the rest of the team can focus on big brand moments/campaigns and how to evolve the system. so stoked for the future. Hats off to @PaulJun_ for articulating the future with this article everyone should read 🔥
4700 word labor of love. I've seen all the patterns and heard every story about in-house brand/creative studio teams. This is my vision for where brand teams can go (and why I joined @tryramp). Brand systems that behave like jazz. Brand as software.

Brand as software

Why settle for noise when you can make music? I recently gave a talk about the future of brand to a room of designers from Ramp and Notion. Some people left energized. Others left worried. Both

Any designers I know using Raycast? I have a subscription but feel like I’m not using it in the best way. Anyone got cool shit they’ve done with it?
We changed how @raycast AI is priced and I want to explain why. AI Chat can now work through whole tasks, not just quick answers. That costs a lot more and we can't subsidize it like the big labs do. So we moved from rate limits to credits. Prices stay the same and existing subscribers get a bonus month. Short video with details below. Happy to answer any questions.

Replying to @clay
@Clay just raised a $115M Series D at a $7.1B valuation. Now, more than 17,000 teams build on Clay, including Anthropic, SpaceXAI, Google, OpenAI, Stripe, Visa, UPS — and 80% of the Forbes AI50. @nytimes just broke the news, but the story goes far beyond the raise. AI is unleashing the biggest wave of company creation in history. Clay’s goal is to be the engine they use to grow. Clay is a self-learning revenue engine that figures out the best GTM play for your company, then runs it. We started as the company with the best data about other companies. Then we became the infrastructure to run campaigns across email, ads, and landing pages. Now we’re building agents that learn from every campaign, predict the next best action, and get better each time they run. Software engineers use coding agents to write code. GTM engineers now use growth agents to autonomously grow their companies. In 2023, we introduced GTME as a new role for people creating revenue systems with data, automation, and AI. Two years later, thousands of GTMEs are growing the world's best companies. They are gathering in nearly 100 Clay Clubs around the world, from Bangalore to Boston and Lahore to Lisbon. That’s why we’re proud to launch a $1M scholarship fund, helping more people enter the profession. @Wellington_Mgmt led our Series D, with participation from @sequoia, @stepstonegroup, @a16z Perennial, @MeritechCapital, DST Global, @CapitalG, @BoxGroup, @boldstartvc, @BloombergBeta, and @EvolutionEquity. A gracious thank you goes out to our customers, community, partners, team, and every GTM engineer shaping this with us. We are going to unveil the future of Agentic GTM at SCULPT on October 8. Stay tuned to see how to use AI to grow every company. 🖤🩵❤️💛

as an insanely busy parent of two little kids being able to quickly text with instinct and have it list a day bed (with photos and the world market link) on Facebook marketplace while I take a smallll amount of time to exercise is why I’m still using it and why it fits so seamlessly in my busy schedule.

was able to recreate After Effects ffx scripts that I've downloaded over the years into a coded library full of real time effects with Fable 5.1 , just so helpful when experimenting with text transitions in hero moments. let me know if anyone wants to try, will publish soon!

instinct is nuts. texted "make a moodboard in Figma from the latest project I was assigned in notion”. it found the brief, logged into figma, and built v0 while i sat there. the only thing it couldn't do, it said out loud. the fuck is happening.
