Traces of Texas reader Troy Simmons spotted this photo of a Houston Oiler Derrick Doll cheerleader on an Oiler-themed golf cart on another site and thoughtfully sent it in. The Derrick Dolls were the Oilers' answer to the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. I like the Texans, of course, but the Oilers should never have left Houston. Every time I think about it, my heart dies a little bit.

Hey @Whataburger, new location needs some training. Ordered the bacon avocado sandwich and said no tomatoes and the counter person said it doesn’t come with tomatoes, and I guess the avocado only gets put on 1 side and are those shriveled things bacon ?

So, I’ve lived here in Oklahoma for 5 years and have been to the last 4 @OSSAAOnline baseball championships. Maybe it’s time to find a permanent home for the games. Went to Tulsa today and so disappointing. Parking almost non existent, the lot I found $24. More than my 2 tickets

I asked a couple of workers if we could sit there l on the other side and was told sure. We sat there for the last 2 innings of the 5A game and then during warmups of the next until one of your fine ushers walked up from field and told us we couldn’t seat there.

So, wife and I decided to go to @ChuysRestaurant last night instead of our Friday regular stop. We’ve eaten here before. Food was great, but I guess the kitchen really wanted to listen to their own music. So I asked to speak to the manager and after my 2nd request she came over.
