I cannot for the life of me understand the decision to throw out branding that included the museum's most recognizable feature, that itself was a riff off the old B&O logo, only to replace it with something utterly forgettable that evokes the B&O's literal historic competitor.

I'm not a bike lane apologist, but I do believe too many of our streets are designed to move cars as fast as possible instead of moving people safely. If reducing Hilton to one lane means fewer crashes, fewer deaths, and safer routes to schools, that's a tradeoff worth making.

Brandon was 9 when this project was proposed. He was 13 when it was supposed to be built.
His whole future is gone because of Baltimore City's inaction.
Morgan State freshman Brandon McMurrin was killed while scooting home from work by the driver of an SUV on Washington St, where a protected bike lane has been promised since 2017.
