floor price alone does never tell the whole story. what tells the story is a KPI called *RARITY PREMIUM*
rarity premium is a phenomenon appearing on bullish NFT collections ONLY.
rarity premium signals LONG-TERM collector interest in the top pieces. people are ready to pay 40%-5000% above floor price because they want the rare items to hold for an extended period.
the rarity premium on the agonauts collection is an absolute anomaly compared to *any* other NFT collection on the market.
the rolling average sale price of an argonaut is 1.05 ETH, while the floor sits at 0.44. despite the floor going down by -50%, the rarity premium is currently at ATH.
this means collectors use the selloff mainly not to buy from floor, but to buy the very most rare items.
this means the floor will follow suit immediately when they're done.
hint: the free claim for ACK collectors ends on September 25, in three days.
