I've written a play titled "A #Palestinian on Trial." Its premise is that UK authorities make it illegal for anyone to declare they're #Palestinian. I'm trying to find a brave theatre company to stage it. We're sliding towards a world where what I wrote as drama becomes fact.
They aren't hiding the definition this time.

The West helped sustain a political order that fractured Ethiopia, looked away as its contradictions deepened, and now risks mislabeling the resistance those contradictions helped produce. You cannot spend decades prioritizing strategic interests over democratic accountability, ignore mounting grievances, and then act surprised when the consequences explode. Ethiopia’s crisis did not appear out of nowhere. The chickens have come home to roost.
Western realpolitik helped sustain Ethiopia’s political order while democratic accountability lagged. This AKB editorial examines the consequences and the politics of labeling resistance. Read: the-amhara-knowledge-base.gi…

The Rev. Edward Nalwamba, a 78-year-old retired Ugandan priest in the U.S., released after spending 13 months in immigration detention. He was carried to his ride by detainees as he was unable to walk out on his own, and officials refused to allow him use a wheelchair beyond the facility's gate. cbsnews.com/colorado/news/pr…

I know absolutely nothing about the situation for African migrants in Denmark so let's ask him since I know he follows me like a stalker. And now I'm curious. If you are an African person living in Denmark, please reply here and tell us what your situation is, what your view is.
Why doesn’t this Dane, Abiy’s lackey, speak out against the creeping fascism in his own country? Denmark has become a living hell for African migrants, and this agenda isn’t being driven by the far right alone, but also by the so-called “social democratic” establishment.

Please always remember a nation is its people, not its regime. Gov'ts made the land burn and filled its graves. What is best about Ethiopia - its literature, its music, its unique faiths - will always endure. Tyranny can make orphans but can't kill the ultimate mother: Ethiopia.
Ethiopia as a nation has FAILED. When they behead your fellow citizens nonstop, displace millions, burn churches, bomb schools etc and the rest of the nation is dead silent, complacent in genocide, we have nothing in common as a nation! #FailedState

Robel's "polished American accent?" 🧐 @TheFitawrari has MY accent. He's a CANADIAN who lives in Toronto. And that "polish" is from having worked his ass off for a PhD. You've hit a new low. You're not only a fascist here, cheering on blocking free speech. You're also a racist.
We warned you, Fano, OLA, TPLF! You can fool some of the international community some of the time, but you can't fool all of the international community all of the time. Translation of "mass closing down of social-media accounts in the Amhara digital community " = the world is finally waking up to the difference between championing human rights and inciting hate and violence at the service of the terrorist Fano militia. Even Robel Alemu, with his angel face and polished American accent, should not count on continued respectability in his country of residence.

.@USEmbassyAddis is this what you tolerate better? When thr regime rains drones on civilians? But when targeted civilians organize anf fight back you oppose? It's extremely worrying and it is not in line with thr non interventionist stance the administration promised. May be the fact that the embassy didn't get new appointments is to blame.....
🚨 BREAKING: The Ethiopian regime launched a devastating drone strike today on Sana Primary School in Dera Woreda, South Gondar, targeting students during school hours. Dozens of children were killed and injured. Shortly after, another strike destroyed the municipal administration office in Welesh Town, Andabet Woreda. #Ethiopia #Amhara #HumanRights #StopDroneAttacks

This is a disturbing trend. It's clear the new strategy is "We'll go after your money." They'll target courageous individuals like @doctor_rahmeh and they don't mind ruining journalistic platforms.
British Left-Wing Media Outlet ‘The Canary’ Has Announced It Is Officially Closing After 11 Years Of Journalism The platform was de-banked by Lloyds Bank & later announced a second account with Metro Bank was also frozen. A major attack was launched against the platform, which The Canary said made continuing to operate untenable. The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) condemned the move by Lloyds Bank as a “disturbing precedent for UK press freedom”. Online commentators have warned that the ability of the establishment to cripple media organisations critical of them creates a hostile environment that will pressure other news outlets to fall into line or face similar potential backlash.

I love this, but I also know the creeps who pushed for the referendum in the first place will not let it go. They'll just bide their time while their sponsors keep bankrolling trouble.

Update: two banks have refused my applications to open an account. So far I have been debanked by @LloydsBank, suspended by @Revolut (awaiting appeal outcome) and banned from @PayPal. This is the price of opposing 'israel' in occupied Britain.
@LloydsBank refused to give me a reason for closing my accounts. The advisor could only submit a 'complaint' to request one. It can take 8 weeks. Meanwhile, I cannot pay my bills or access my money. I must wait for a cheque and find another bank. This is political persecution.

“If Iran didn’t exist” Notice how easy the pro-Israel people, who scream about anyone questioning Israel’s ‘right’ to exist, happily and casually talk about disappearing entire countries - Rubio here on Israel, Trump the other day on Somalia.
Marco Rubio on Palestine: If there were no radical Shia clerics in Iran, if they didn't exist, if that wasn't there, none of these problems would exist. You may still have a Palestinian issue. I would argue that issue would be easier to deal with if Iran didn't exist.
