It's become "popular" for high school football programs to say "We don't meet on Sundays because of technology." I don't know that I would do that if I returned to being a Head Coach. Those Sunday afternoons as a staff were SO valuable to communicate, practice plan, game plan, etc etc. I just don't see how staffs do it without meeting. The ebb and flow of scouting, and the arguments and the "what ifs" and putting together the week, etc etc etc. I don't see how you can just do all that on text or email or whatever have you. BUT, I haven't coached since 2018. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
