"Handicap isn't how someone looks."
"I'm also a Gold Star Family because my husband and I were dual military."
Woman's car is brand new and still has temporary tags.
Permanent registration is designated for ISA disabled plates—something police can verify.
But because he didn't see a placard hanging in the window, he told her, "You don't look disabled."
Invisible disabilities are still disabilities—you cannot look at somebody and decide whether they are "disabled enough."
Incident occurred at Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas.
