This could be a huge simplification and performance optimization for my Payload & Astro website stack!

Rich text block-level elements are now translated as one unit using segment markers. So inline formatting stays aligned across locales. Plus more fixes!

I just published a new version of my @payloadcms image alt text plugin that adds a dashboard widget for alt text coverage.
It also comes with new endpoints that can be invoked by agents to generate or bulk generate alt texts.

My current Claude Code flow that I love:
1. Give Claude Code a task
2. Set auto-accept edits to ON
3. Review its changes
4. Git-stage the good changes immediately
5. Repeat step 1 for adjustments
6. Git commit ✅
Staging lets me confidently commit. Unstaged means still refining

I would also block paths containing .env, which I frequently see in website logs.
Blocked all bots looking for php vulnerabilities with this custom rule in Vercel Firewall.
Firewall → Configure → + New Rule
Name: Block .php request paths
If "Request Path" - "Contains" - ".php"
AND
Then "Deny"
Save Rule → Review Changes → Publish
Enjoy 🎉

It's done. Now it’s your turn, @Oracle.
We’ve submitted a formal petition to cancel the JavaScript trademark: it is generic, Oracle has abandoned it, and Oracle committed fraud on the USPTO during the last trademark renewal.
Oracle has until January 4th to respond, or the case will go into default, which will result in the trademark being canceled.
It's time to #FreeJavaScript.

Flutter is deprecating the PWA by default mode. This is really an awesome change, because the PWA mode by default made web apps not act like web apps, and really confused people with caching logic. Often, people would not understand why users don't see their hotfixes because the service worker would prevent users from seeing fixes.
This doesn't prevent you from making a PWA, but it does make Flutter web apps work more like web apps.
