7 years ago today, Seth Rollins wrestled The Fiend in a Hell in a Cell match. This match ended in a no contest.

When Dynamite was on April Fool’s Day this year they should have used this intro and not mentioned it afterwards
I re-imagined the 1996 ECW intro using current AEW wrestlers. I call it Extreme Elite Wrestling. #AEW #ECW

Jericho hasn’t interviewed a wrestler on TIJ in forever, but he had David Finlay on today for a good interview. Best parts was when he called Butlin’s wrestling “Disney on crack” and the time his mom insisted he tell the other kids at school Hornswoggle was his legit brother.

All Star Extravaganza VIII was 10 years ago yesterday. The card reads like a backdoor pilot for AEW given how many wrestlers went on to at least make an appearance if not be on the roster. Main event was great, even if you’re burnt out on ladder matches (and who isn’t?).

That was a beautiful, difficult, and cathartic show. AEW does these tributes so well, I just wish they didn’t have so much goddam practice.

Real strong Sad Last Days vibes for the Midnight Express as they lose to Robert Gibson and Tommy Rich at Halloween Havoc when the Southern Boys come out dressed like Jim Cornette

Stan Hansen nukes Lex Luger with a lariat to win the US title. Luger had the belt for 17 months (!) before losing it, and would win it back at Starrcade less than 2 months later.
