I am honored to share that I had the privilege of writing the foreword for “Killed to Order” by Jan Jekielek, a courageous and deeply important work that confronts one of the most uncomfortable and consequential ethical issues of our time. This is not an easy book to read, nor should it be, because it forces us to examine realities that many prefer to ignore, and yet as physicians, as citizens, and as human beings, we have a moral obligation to face the truth wherever it leads. Jan is not only a meticulous investigator but also a man of integrity, and I have no doubt this book will resonate globally and very likely reach the New York Times Best Seller list. I strongly encourage everyone to read it, reflect on it, and share it, because silence in the face of ethical darkness is never neutral. Thank you, Jan, for your courage and your friendship. @JanJekielek

Thank you so very much, @joevaron! Your foreword to the book is VERY POWERFUL; readers often mention it when speaking about the book to me, specifically this passage: "Advanced imaging, transplant immunology, surgical robotics, and global supply chains allow atrocities to occur with clinical elegance and administrative distance. Violence no longer appears chaotic or crude; it is scheduled, documented, and billed." Folks, you can get "Killed to Order" here: KilledtoOrder.com
